Old Baldy Lighthouse

I was nursing a pretty serious burn on my legs and couldn't join my friends as they climbed creaky wooden steps to the top of Old Baldy. I was content to putter around the ground level taking pictures.

There was an old mailbox, the rudder from a crashed pirate ship, a piece of the original stairway, and my favorite articfact...

...an old brick-making machine similar to the one used to build the first/inner layer of Old Baldy. I fell in love with the dust. I don't think I would have liked it nearly as much if it had been in a shiny museum.
